God’s spiritual light shines in us by His Holy Spirit. God has shone His spiritual light in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus the Messiah.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
1 Therefore, seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint. 2 But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 Even if our Good News is veiled, it is veiled in those who are dying, 4 in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. 5 For we don’t proclaim ourselves, but Messiah Yeshua as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Yeshua’s sake, 6 seeing it is God who said, “Light will shine out of darkness,”✡ who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Yeshua the Messiah. 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
God called us out of darkness into his marvelous spiritual light. Each of us is a vital part of God’s people, who have obtained mercy. We walk in God’s spiritual light and continue to grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Messiah, walking as salt and shining lamps in this dark world, holding up the word of life. (Mt 5:13-16)
Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. Therefore don’t be partakers with them. For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. Ephesians 5:6-9
Walking as children of light, we love the brothers and sisters in Messiah that He connects us together with in our homes, families, neighborhoods, cities, states and countries in His body of believers (1 Peter 1:22-23).
We enjoy the good pleasure of goodness in our relationships and do the good works God created us in Messiah Jesus to do (Ephesians 2:10).
“we do pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and may fulfil all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of the faith in power, 1:12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 YLT
