Over the years I have discovered two websites filled with unbiased, non-legalistic, Hebraic perspective by two who trust in Messiah Yeshua. They are Avram Yehoshua and haRold Smith.
An article written by Avram Yehoshua entitled: KINGDOM VIOLENCE MATTHEW 11:12 is filled with insight that witnesses in my spirit.
Avram gave me permission to quote from his article in one I was writing: Jesus our Shepherd King.
What caught my interest was the typical translation of Matthew 11:12, which isn’t supported by other Scripture. “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.”
With Hebraic perspective, Avram Yehoshua translates Matthew 11:12:
And from the days of Yochanan the Immerser until now, the Kingdom of the Heavens is being breached and the breachers are possessing it.
Explaining his translation of Mt 11:12, Avram Yehoshua states: “Yeshua was alluding to the prophetic passage in Micah about the Messiah being the Shepherd who would breach or tear open a section of the fence or wall of the Sheepfold (the earthly existence) for the Remnant of Israel. The Sheep (believers; breachers), would then continue to break down and break through the fence of the sheep-pen into greener pastures (the heavenly Kingdom), as they follow their Shepherd.”
Another who shares Hebraic perspective is haRold Smith, born to gentile parents. He tells us:
Because of the redemptive sacrifice of Yeshua and with my embrace of His Life, I have been reborn into the Spirit of the Father (the very same Spirit that fathered Him). Scripture says that, because of that rebirth, the same DNA courses through my body as that of my Elder Brother, Yeshua—flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone (Ephesians 5:30). There are those who would say, “well, that’s a spiritual take on things,” but I feel that Yeshua’s message was one of bringing the Kingdom that lies within (Luke 17:20-21) to behold as reality in this earthly realm (see the Kinsman Redeemer series for a more in-depth look).
His website is He That Has and Ear, which he introduces: THE SEED OF ABRAHAM For the Jew searching for his Messiah and For the Gentile seeking his Hebraic Heritage.
These eye opening articles caught my attention. They are written from the heart.
