How does Messiah Jesus reign. Messiah Jesus reigns over God’s people through blessings. As we saw as we reflected on Blessings from the LORD, the blessings are the impress of God’s being. All blessing of God is included in His name. It is the impress of His being (Numbers 6:22-27). That fact opens the eyes of our hearts to how Messiah Jesus reigns.
The God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Messiah (Ephesians 1:3). The name of Jesus is the impress of His being in our being.
Through the Scripture, Jesus tells us: “Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. 13 Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. 15 If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:10-15 Cf. Matthew 18:19; Matthew 21:22; Mark 11:24; John 15:7
Through the gift of righteousness, we reign in life through Jesus the Messiah. Grace reigns through righteousness to eternal life through Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Yeshua the Messiah. 18 So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life. 19 For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous. 20 The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly; 21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
We draw near to the throne of grace with boldness.
14 Having then a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Yeshua, the Son of God, let’s hold tightly to our confession. 15 For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. 16 Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16
By His grace and mercy, God has made us His people. He has put His name on us.
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 In the past, you were not a people, but now are God’s people, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Beloved, I beg you as foreigners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 12 having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they see, glorify God in the day of visitation. 1 Peter 2:9-12

May our God make you worthy of His calling
and by His power accomplish every good thing you decide to do and every work of faith,
so as to glorify the name of our Lord Jesus among you, and you in Him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. From 2 Th 1:11-1
