Kingdomview—We get the kingdomview from the Bible. Jesus proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom and described the present and the eternal of the kingdom of God in detail. Jesus’ gospel is recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The gospel of the kingdom is further expounded by the apostles in Acts and the epistles.
We who trust in Jesus have the kingdomview. For “God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of the Son whom he loves, through whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins” (Col 1:13-14 ISV).
Jesus also taught about the kingdom of Satan and called him the ruler of the world. Jesus will end Satan’s rule (Ro 16:20; Rev 20:10) Link
Jesus proclaimed we who follow Jesus will go into eternal life. Satan’s followers will endure eternal punishment. “… the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels.”
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. 32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. 36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? 38 When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’
40 “The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,‡ you did it to me.’ 41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
44 “Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’
45 “Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’ 46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Mt 25:31-45 WMB
Values—“Broad preferences concerning appropriate courses of actions or outcomes. As such, values reflect a person’s sense of right and wrong or what “ought” to be.” Wikipedia
Values are broad because people who do not continue in Jesus’ word do not know the truth (Jn 8:31-32) so they self determine what is right in their own eyes (Proverbs 21:2).
Since values come from a persons own sense, they are essentially carnal.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Ro 8:5-8 KJV
“A world view or worldview is the fundamental cognitive orientation of an individual or society encompassing the whole of the individual’s or society’s knowledge and point of view. A world view can include natural philosophy; fundamental, existential, and normative postulates; or themes, values, emotions, and ethics. The term is a calque of the German word Weltanschauung. Meaning: worldview, philosophy of life, ideology.” Wikibedia
Thus, a worldview is big enough to accommodate all of the works of the flesh (Gal 5). Like the worldview of the left progressives in America, it salves the guilty conscience of evil doers such as secular heathens, hedonists and narcissists.
Heathens, hedonists and narcissists invade our churches with their worldview. They are as wolves in sheep’s clothing. Respecting their fleshly enlightenment, some denominations even ordain them and put them in their pulpits or on their platforms.
Jesus tells us.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves [deceptive, cruel, greedy, rapacious, destructive people]. Mt 7:15 KJV
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. Jn 10:12 KJV
Jesus sent out his disciples with these words:
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Mt 10:16 KJV
After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Lk 10:1-3 KJV
Paul tells us.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Acts 20:29 KJV
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. Php 2:12-16 KJV
But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away. For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further. For their folly shall be evident unto all men, as theirs also came to be. 2 Tim 3:1-9 ASV
Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. Ro 12:2 ISV
