Pagans panic on climate change because they do not believe in the God of the Bible. So, they are full of fear and easily driven by the fear of death the devil uses on them. Climate change proponents drive their followers with fear tactics full of lies designed destroy reason and stir anger and rage.
A recent article from Hoover.org brought this to mind. “Our Latest Global Warming Scare by Richard A. Epstein Tuesday, October 16, 2018”
Pagans panic. Their fear of death is real.
They are in bondage to him who “him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” We who believe in the God of the Bible, we are not afraid of death.
Jesus destroyed the devil’s power when He died for our sins
5 For he didn’t subject the world to come, of which we speak, to angels. 6 But one has somewhere testified, saying,
- “What is man, that you think of him?
Or the son of man, that you care for him?
7 You made him a little lower than the angels.
You crowned him with glory and honor.
8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet. 9 But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Yeshua, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone. 10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one, for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brothers, 12 saying,
- “I will declare your name to my brothers.
Among the congregation I will sing your praise.”
13 Again, “I will put my trust in him.”
- Again, “Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”
14 Since then the children have shared in flesh and blood, he also himself in the same way partook of the same, that through death he might bring to nothing him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham. 17 Therefore he was obligated in all things to be made like his brothers, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted. God our Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in light, “delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love.”
9 For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, 11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in light, 13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, 14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together. 18 He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross. God created the heavens and the earth to support life. The Bible tells us that God will destroy it and will bring forth a new heaven and a new earth. (2 Peter 2-3, Revelation 21-22). Christ in us gives us that hope of glory (Col 1:27).
Peace that passes understanding
4 Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!” 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Messiah Yeshua.
