Voting gives consent of the people of the United states of America to “a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States.” “I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.” America’s Creed
We pledge allegiance. “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Over the last 50 years, many of the just powers derived “from the consent of the governed” have unjustly been usurped by those hostile to Christians in the crooked and perverse, Democratic party, of which 68% do not believe in the God of the Bible.
The Democrats have made our “government of the people, by the people, for the people” a government over the people without the consent of the majority of Christians. They act like the Grand Poobah we find in the Comic Book.
For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.Romans 10:3
The wicked is brought down in his calamity,
but in death, the righteous has a refuge.
Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding,
and is even made known in the inward part of fools.
Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin is a disgrace to any people. Proverbs 14:32-34 ESV (Prov 14:1-35)
By God’s grace, President Donald Trump has done much to reverse the Democrats wicked impositions on our liberty. He trusts in the God of the Bible.
We come to the throne of grace. “Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 ESV my emphasis
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” Revelation 5:13 ISV
After these things, I looked, and there was a crowd so large that no one was able to count it! They were from every nation, tribe, people, and language. They were standing in front of the throne and the lamb and were wearing white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, Revelation 7:9-10 ISV (Rev 12:10; Rev 19:1-21; 2 Peter 3:13)
The people of faith in the God of the Bible honored for their actions in Hebrews 11 died, longing for the better county. In faith, we follow their example and look forward to living in the New heaven and New earth eternally. (Revelation 21:1-27; 22:1-21)
All these people died having faith. They did not receive the things that were promised, yet they saw them in the distant future and welcomed them, acknowledging that they were strangers and foreigners on earth. For people who say such things make it clear that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking about what they had left behind, they would have had an opportunity to go back. Instead, they were longing for a better country, that is, a heavenly one. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, because he has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:13-16 ESV
The New heaven and New earth
1 And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth; for the first Heaven and the first earth were gone, and the sea no longer exists. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God and made ready like a bride attired to meet her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice, which came from the throne, say, “God’s dwelling place is among men and He will dwell among them and they shall be His peoples. Yes, God Himself will be among them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; nor sorrow, nor wail of woe, nor pain; for the first things have passed away.”
5 Then He who was seated on the throne said, “I am re-creating all things.” And He added, “Write down these words, for they are trustworthy and true.” 6 He also said, “They have now been fulfilled. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To those who are thirsty I will give the privilege of drinking from the well of the Water of Life without payment. 7 All this shall be the heritage of him who overcomes, and I will be his God and he shall be one of My sons.
8 But as for cowards and the unfaithful, and the polluted, and murderers, fornicators, and those who practice magic or worship idols, and all liars—the portion allotted to them shall be in the Lake which burns with fire and sulfur. This is the Second Death.” Revelation 21:1-8 (Revelation 21:1-27; 22:1-21) WMB
John 3 “16 For so greatly did God love the world that He gave His only Son, that every one who trusts in Him may not perish but may have the Life of Ages. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who trusts in Him does not come up for judgement. He who does not trust has already received sentence, because he has not his trust resting on the name of God’s only Son.” John 3:16-18 WNT
One who has been sentenced can repent and believe any time.
