For the Kingdom of God does not consist of eating and drinking, but of right conduct, peace and joy, through the Holy Spirit; and whoever in this way devotedly serves Christ, God takes pleasure in him, and men highly commend him. Ro 14:17-18 WNT
Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error, and for instruction in right doing; so that the man of God may himself be complete and may be perfectly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17 WNT
I write in the mentoring mode to help Christians understand and function in Kingdom Relationships in accord with God’s Word. The central theme of this blog is: God’s kingdom, life in the kingdom the Son and walking worthy of God’s calling.
He [God] rescued us from the tyranny of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, who paid the ransom to forgive our sins and set us free. Col 1:9-14
May our God “make you worthy of His calling and by His power accomplish every good thing you decide to do and every work of faith, so as to glorify the name of our Lord Jesus among you, and you in Him, according to the love of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12Bill Bremer 2016
My wife Judy and I participate in one another ministry at Springs Vineyard in Colorado Springs. Our pastor, Richard Clinton, does his utmost to help each part work properly (Eph 4:16).
We are in our 70’s. Back in 1977, I discovered a gem of a book that helped me begin to see things with kingdom perspective: The Community of the King by Howard Snyder. I still have a well read copy. Other favorite authors from over the years are: David du Plessis, John & Paula Sandford, J.I. Packer, James G.D. Dunn, N. T. Wright, Ray Ashmore, Sam Storms and John Wimber.
